AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting
The AAT Level 4 diploma offers technical training in accounting and is ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in accountancy and finance. It aims to enhance the skills developed from the AAT Advanced Diploma. We also offer this diploma as part of the Professional Accounting/Taxation Technician apprenticeship.

Units
This diploma comprises of four mandatory units, and two specialist units selected from a choice of five options:

Management Accounting: Budgeting
Management Accounting: Decision and Control
Financial Statements of Limited Companies
Accounting Systems and Controls

Business Tax
Personal Tax
External Auditing
Cash and Treasury Management

Duration
This qualification will typically take 12 months to complete, but can take as little as 9 months using our distance learning route.
Progression
On completion, students automatically become AAT Affiliate Members, and with relevant work experience, will qualify for full AAT membership allowing them to use the designatory letters “MAAT” after their name. Skills developed through this qualification could lead to employment as:
