Training Company Aquisition
Encompass Consultancy acquires Total Training Solutions GB North entering the apprenticeships market, TTSGB is rebranded as Encompass Development and Encompass Development is formed. This was Encompass’ first footprint in the Apprenticeships and Government Funded Training arena. Originally Encompass begin delivering Logistics and Health and Social Care Apprenticeships.
Encompass Development Group relocates to training facility in Melton East Yorkshire, strategically positioned to work with customers along the M62 corridor.
Lisa Blakey joins the board of Encompass as Managing Director having spent the previous 8 years as Executive Director of Human Resources at Shepherd Group Built Environment Division, Lisa takes responsibility for the strategic operational performance of Encompass and Lucus Elliott assumes position of CEO.
Direct Funding Status
Encompass achieve direct funding status with the SFA (now Education and Skills Funding Agency) expanding its portfolio of courses based on strategic changes in the market place and employer demand – this includes a range of specialist professional qualifications including; Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
Advanced Learner Loans
Encompass enter the Advanced Learner Loan market delivering over 1.6m contract in the 2016/2017 funding year.
Encompass becomes the first strategic partner with the Chartered Management Institute.
Encompass respond to the reforms in Apprenticeship policy through a significant change in BD strategy. Encompass secure range of large contracts with key employers including Arla Foods, Princes Foods, AAK, Swift Group, Westminster City Council, Kent County Council and Maidstone & Tunbridge wells NHS Trust.
